Dr Kirker joins Labtests from his role as a Senior Pathologist at Diagnostic Medlab (DML), where he worked for over eight years.

Prior to taking up his role at DML, Dr Kirker was a Histopathologist at Greenlane and National Womens Hospital in Auckland for eight years, which included a year as Clinical Head of Department. He also served as a Pathologist at Southland Hospital, Invercargill and Cook Hospital in Gisborne, and was a Senior Registrar at St Mary’s Medical Hospital in London and at Auckland Hospital.

Dr Kirker is a graduate of Otago Medical School and completed his FRCPA in Anatomic Pathology in Auckland.

Dr Teoh joins Labtests from his role as a Consultant Histopathologist at LabPLUS in Auckland, where he worked for over eight years.

Prior to taking up his role at LabPLUS, Dr Teoh was Head of Anatomic Pathology at Wellington Hospital for five years. He was a Consultant Pathologist at Wellington Hospital and Clinical Lecturer in Pathology at the University of Otago, Wellington School of Medicine from 1980 to 1993. He also served as a Consultant Pathologist at Singapore General Hospital from 1993 to 1996.

He is a graduate of the University of Singapore and completed his FRCPA in Anatomic Pathology in Christchurch.

Dr Osipov joins Labtests from the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA where he has been an Assistant Professor of Pathology since 2004.

Dr Osipov completed his medicine studies at the Pavlov Medical University, St Petersburg, Russia. This was followed by a pathology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a surgical pathology Fellowship with special emphasis in bone and soft tissue pathology and gastrointestinal pathology at the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA.

Dr Osipov is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists.

Patrick has recently returned from New York where he was Assistant Professor of Pathology and Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. He has published over 50 peer reviewed papers, abstracts and book chapters and is a reviewer for numerous journals in the field of dermatopathology.

He is a fellow of the American Society of Dermatopathology and the College of American Pathologists and is particularly interested in the diagnosis of complex inflammatory disorders and cutaneous malignancies. He recently received a Tisch research grant to investigate epigenetic modifications in the pathogenesis of melanoma. Patrick is a graduate of Otago Medical School.
