Dr Upton joins Labtests from Northland where she was a Clinical Microbiologist with the Northland District Health Board and a part-time Research Physician with Auckland Clinical Studies. Prior to these positions, Arlo was a Clinical Microbiologist with LabPLUS at Auckland City Hospital from 2006 to 2008.

Dr Upton graduated in medicine from The University of Otago before going on to specialise in infectious diseases. She spent two years in research fellowship training at Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center in Seattle, USA.

Dr Upton is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Dr Dragana Drinkovic joins Labtests as a Clinical Microbiologist. After graduating from Belgrade University School of Medicine in Serbia she was a General Practitioner in Croatia before completing her pathology training at the Military Medical Academy, Institute of Microbiology in Belgrade.

Dr Drinkovic then practiced in Serbia as a Clinical Microbiologist before moving to New Zealand in 1994. After obtaining her FRCPA in 2003 she worked in the Microbiology Laboratory in Auckland Hospital before moving to North Shore Hospital, where she is part of the microbiology team.

Dr Drinkovic is a member of the American Society for Microbiology, Australian Society for Antimicrobials and Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases.
